AMARILLO, TEXAS – November 26, 2012 – Local businesswoman, Jackie Bennett, of JACKIE BENNETT FINANCIAL SERVICES, invites the community to bring their children to her offices at 4000 W. 34th, Suite D, Amarillo, for a visit with Santa Claus on Sunday, December 2, 2012, from 1 to 4 p.m. McCall Catherine Photography will be taking complimentary photos of each child with Santa, and refreshments will be served. Jackie Bennett Financial is asking those who attend to bring – if possible – a new unwrapped toy to donate to the Downtown Women’s Center, a shelter for the homeless that has been serving the community since 1989. I’m delighted to be able to help in any way I can.” The Downtown Women’s Center was founded in 1989 by Sister Mary Virginia Clark to provide housing and services to the homeless and those dealing with addiction. The organization’s goal is to provide a pathway toward self-sufficiency for women, children and family.
